Attorneys Focused on Results Since 1993

At Kratter & Gustafson, our lawyers, Mark Kratter and Lisa Gustafson, have been practicing law since 1993 and 1994 respectively. These experienced attorneys handle every client matter – nothing is handed off to a new associate. In addition to this assurance of well-qualified representation, our clients benefit from our small law firm's commitment to providing personal service at a reasonable cost. If you have any questions, or to arrange to speak with Mark or Lisa, contact our Norwalk office.

We provide legal services to clients needing help with family law and divorce, Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy for consumers, Chapter 11 bankruptcy for businesses, DUI and criminal defense, and injury claims following car accidents.

Each lawyer at our firm has, in addition to extensive experience and legal training, a rich background that enhances our ability to serve our clients:

Mark Kratter received a degree in electrical engineering before beginning his career in law. He demonstrated, through his mastery of that difficult and highly technical field, his ability to analyze complex scenarios and solve challenging problems. Mark applies those same analytical skills and thorough preparation to the benefit of our clients when, as a bankruptcy attorney, he helps a client develop a plan to reorganize debt; as a family lawyer he works out a strategy to handle division of a large marital estate; or as a criminal attorney he prepares the DUI defense that keeps a client out of jail.

Lisa Gustafson, before attending law school and being admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association in 1994, received a degree in communications, demonstrating her mastery of the critical skills necessary to a tough negotiator and powerful trial attorney. As a family law attorney she sees that our clients' rights are protected.
